Hello and welcome to Reception.

Reception are taught by Mrs Mansell on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs Harvey teaches Reception on a Friday.

In Reception there is also support from: Mrs Loris, Mrs Edwards and Miss Leather.

Forest School will be on a Wednesday. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing warm clothes and wellies as we will be outside whatever the weather! School will provide waterproof trousers and a jacket for each child.

On a Tuesday we have PE. Children will need a red t-shirt and black shorts or tracksuit bottoms. In the Autumn and Spring term PE will take place indoors so you do not need to provide trainers as we will be barefoot. PE kits can be kept in school and will be sent home at the end of every half term. 

The school will provide seasonal fruit for the children to have as a morning snack and each child is eligible for free milk until they are five years old. 

Please ensure that all school uniform and items of PE kits are labelled. 

Our umbrella theme this half term is, ‘Zoom, Zoom, Zoom’. Please look at class newsletter and topic web for more information about what your child will be doing in class and how you can support the transition at home.
