BROCKHAMPTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

WELCOME TO

Year Four

Welcome to Year 4.  Our class teaching staff is Mr McLaren. Our teaching assistant is Mrs Stubbs. We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning lots in all different subjects.  Our first topic in Year 4 is ‘The Romans’.

Our PE lessons take place every Monday afternoon. Children in Year 4 need to bring in to school their PE kit and get changed just before the lessons.  A reminder of appropriate PE kit can be found at: https://brockhamptonprimaryschool.co.uk/school-uniform/

Forest School will be every Thursday afternoon.  Children can come to school wearing appropriate clothing and should bring a pair of wellingtons.  Their boots can either be left in school or taken home at the end of the day.  Please remember to send your child to school with a coat if it is a rainy day as they will be outdoors all afternoon.

Children should bring their reading books and reading records into school every day.  These will go home each afternoon so that they can practise and record their reading.  Spelling books should also be brought into school daily and spellings should be practised regularly at home.

If you have any questions about any of our learning in school, please contact:  amclaren@brockhampton.hereford.sch.uk
